National Wind is the project developer for NorthStar Wind Farm. Their goal for all projects is to provide local ownership, local participation, and to draw the community together. National Wind is responsible for all project development activities from a “green field” through project construction.

National Wind is the leader in developing utility scale (50 megawatts or more) community wind energy projects. They form powerful community wind energy partnerships with property owners, assuring that the project’s economic benefits are shared with its local stockholders and the surrounding community.

National Wind and its subsidiary, National Wind Assessments have 15 projects in development or operation, totaling over 4,000 megawatts. National Wind projects are located in eight states and the company is exploring expansion opportunities in many more.
